Congratulations to James Taylor, fondly known as JT, for receiving the Carl & Beth Goldberg Vital Person Award. He is a member of the Raleigh Aero Masters in Raleigh, NC. This award is presented annually to a fellow modeler, whose efforts enhance the enjoyment of the hobby and whose accomplishments are seldom formally acknowledged. JT is one such fellow. AMA DISTRICT IV NEWSLETTER edition 2

The long awaited release of the FAA NPRM with rules for the use of sUAS, was presented at a press conference Sunday February 15th at 10:30am EST. Initially it looks to be very favorable toward hobby and recreation. Below is an email from Dave Mathewson, the Executive Director of AMA, and a link to the response to members by AMA.
